UCO Women's Basketball game

Basketball is one of my favorite sports. I made my way to the Hamilton Field House on Saturday to see UCO play against Oklahoma Baptist. Our girls proved to be too strong for the Baptist girls and won 73-58. The Bronchos are now 5-1 on the season.

If you're interested to find out more about the game, you can go to this link put up by The Vista's Sports Editor, Chris Brannick.

UCO WInter Glow

Something exciting happened in UCO on Friday. It's the Winter Glow. Basically it's an event to mark the lighting of the Old North Tower and the Christmas season. People from all ages came in droves to be part of the event. There were free food, games, arts, paintings, and many more. I can tell you that it was a heaven for the kids especially. Every corner that I turned into, I saw kids were laughing and having a great time there.

This year is my second year attending the Winter Glow. It's getting more grand and exciting. Christmas spirit could be felt in every corner of the building.

UCO's Boogie Woogie Christmas

It's Christmas Season once again. I'm not gonna lie that this is my favorite month of the year. I've always been looking forward for Christmas even when it is still January.

This year is a little different because I got to see Boogie Woogie Christmas. It is a production put up by UCO's musical theater students at UCO Jazz Lab. I was there on assignment for The Vista. Below are some of the pictures I took.

What a show! This is one of the best productions I've ever seen. If you did not get to see it this year, don't worry, they're doing it every year. Please be sure that you don't miss it next year.

I saw Jeremy Lin in Oklahoma City

If you don't already know, I'm a big fan of Houston Rockets' Jeremy Lin. That's me in a Jeremy's chinese character T-shirt.

A couple of days ago, on Nov. 28, I bought myself a ticket to OKC Thunder vs Houston Rockets game at Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City.

I got there early enough to see him shooting some hoops right by the court side.

And, OKC welcomed back former players, James Harden, Cole Aldrich, and Daequan Cook, who were traded to Rockets for Kevin Martin, and Jeremy Lamb.

It was an emotional moment for James Harden and OKC Coach Scott Brooks right before the tip off.

And the game begins. James Harden was trying to block Kevin Durant's shot.

My favorite player, Jeremy, tried his best to block Durant's shot.

The star players of Houston Rockets.

The Thunder Girls entertain the crowds.

OKC Thunder won the game 120 to 98. Though I wore Rocket's Red shirt to the game, I'm still a OKC Thunder fan for life. Thunder up!
