UCO's Boogie Woogie Christmas

It's Christmas Season once again. I'm not gonna lie that this is my favorite month of the year. I've always been looking forward for Christmas even when it is still January.

This year is a little different because I got to see Boogie Woogie Christmas. It is a production put up by UCO's musical theater students at UCO Jazz Lab. I was there on assignment for The Vista. Below are some of the pictures I took.

What a show! This is one of the best productions I've ever seen. If you did not get to see it this year, don't worry, they're doing it every year. Please be sure that you don't miss it next year.

UCO Homecoming Football Game

It's Game Day. I believe this game has the most attendance ever. Why?  Because it's Homecoming. All the Greek Houses members showed up in droves to see if their sister or brother would be crown the new Homecoming King and Queen. That's the catch.

He's UCO's QB, Adrian Nelson.

Tough guys.

Coach Bobeck gave some words of encouragements to his players.

UCO RB, Joshua Birmingham, rushed for a touchdown.

He's still rushing.

He celebrates with his teammates.

UCO Cheerleaders put up a dance routine at half-time.

WOW!

Alpha Gamma Delta won the Bronchos Cup.

Anyway, UCO football team lost again. I hope our team will have a better roster next season. Finger crossed.

UCO Homecoming Tailgate Party

UCO Homecoming Tailgate Party was a blast! Different schools set up their booth to give out freebies to those who were there just before the game. Everyone was having a lot of fun at the party.

School of Early Childhood Education set up a story-reading booth that attracted many kids.

UCO Homecoming Parade

University of Central Oklahoma held its annual Homecoming last Saturday. It's the day every alumni, students, fraternities, sororities, staffs, faculty members and Edmond community looking forward to. Those who are involved in the parade gathered at the parking lots near Mitchell Hall. Spectators could be seen waiting anxiously by the sidewalk for the parade to begin. The parade started a little bit later than scheduled because Russell Westbrook, who was supposedly to be the grand marshal, did not show up. Anyway, the organizer decided to let the parade begin without him.

The Sheriff troops were part of the parade.

International students were represented at the parade too.

OKC Thunder's James Harden meets fans at Raising Cane's

Raising Cane's Restaurant is the latest addition to the many restaurants already available in Edmond, Oklahoma. Yesterday, Sept. 27, James Harden was invited to the restaurant to interact with die-hard Oklahoma City Thunder fans. I was there as a photographer for The Vista to cover the event.

People waiting in line to meet James.
